CTO/Technical Co-Founder Opportunity at SciPub+

At SciPub+, we’re poised to transform scientific publishing through AI. By joining the recent cohort at INiTS, we’ve embarked on the next chapter of our journey, and we’re seeking a capable CTO/Technical Co-Founder who’s ready to architect the future of our platform. Our startup is vibrant, our team is dedicated, and together, we’ll make meaningful strides in how scientific research is shared and discovered.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A strategic thinker with a robust background software development and architecture, eager to design and scale innovative solutions.
• An experienced “Doer” capable of leading technical strategy and development, not afraid of getting their hands dirty, ensuring our product not only meets but exceeds the evolving needs of the scientific community.
• Someone who is up-to-date and comfortable with the latest ML/AI technologies and technical resources (with a focus on NLP and LLMs), and knows how to leverage them effectively. First-hand experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, … is a huge plus.
• A collaborator who will work closely with the co-founders to navigate SciPub+ through its growth phases, making strategic decisions that align with our vision and mission.

Your Role:

• Design and implement a technical architecture that supports the scalability and sustainability of the SciPub+ platform.
• Identify and integrate the latest AI and technical capabilities to enhance our offerings.
• Grow and lead our technical team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Collaborate with co-founders to refine and execute the SciPub+ roadmap, positioning us for success in the dynamic landscape of scientific publishing.
